How We Build Our Tools
Every calculator on HSS Calculator is developed individually. We document the formulas we use (for example, standard BMI = weight ÷ height², or the fixed-rate loan payment formula), implement them in our Node.js backend API, and connect them to responsive HTML interfaces. Before release, we manually test typical values, boundary cases (such as zero interest rates or division by zero), and mobile layouts.
User interface design follows accessibility basics: readable contrast in both light and dark themes, keyboard-friendly controls, and labels on form fields. We continue to expand our library based on user feedback submitted through the Contact page.
